The border between North and South Korea is still the most guarded and most dangerous in the world. Every day, approximately a million soldiers patrol the borders on both sides of the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone). Stones embedded in the fence were a specific safety system. Painted in white and red, they formed a visible, unbroken line on the grid.
